Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Mono. Please read them carefully before creating an account.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mono ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date above, so the current version is always the one shown here. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Mono is a SaaS platform that provides teams with tools for project management, client relationship management, contract tracking, HR management, time tracking, and financial operations. The specific features available to you depend on the plan you subscribe to.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
3. Accounts & Registration
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Keep your password secure and confidential.
- Notify us immediately at support@mono-sys.com of any unauthorized access to your account.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not share login credentials or allow third parties to access the platform using your account. Each user must have their own credentials.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload, transmit, or store any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Use any automated scraping, crawling, or data extraction tools without our prior written consent.
- Transmit any malware, ransomware, or other malicious code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
We reserve the right to investigate violations and terminate accounts that breach this policy, without refund.
5. Subscriptions & Payment
Mono offers a 90-day (3-month) free trial with no card required. The Trial plan is limited to 3 seats, 2 clients and 2 boards. After the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription.
- Payment method: There is no online payment gateway. We issue an invoice for your chosen plan and you pay it by bank transfer. Your account is activated once we confirm the transfer has been received, which is a manual step on our side.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your chosen plan. We issue the next cycle's invoice ahead of your paid-through date and send payment reminders as it approaches.
- Non-payment: If an invoice is still unpaid after a short grace period past its due date, we may suspend the account until payment is received. Suspension blocks access; it does not delete your data.
- Cancellation: You may request cancellation from your billing settings. Your plan stays fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which it will not renew; no partial refunds are provided unless required by law. You may undo a scheduled cancellation at any time before it takes effect.
- Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
- Taxes: Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax). Any tax that applies is shown on the invoice we issue you.
6. Data Ownership & Your Content
You retain full ownership of all data and content you input into Mono ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
We do not sell Your Content or use it to train AI models. We process it only as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding Your Content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Mono and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets without our prior written consent.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them freely without compensation or attribution.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect Your Content, including encryption of traffic in transit (TLS), role-based access controls, optional multi-factor authentication, and session timeouts. Sensitive credentials such as multi-factor secrets are encrypted in our database. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if we are required to do so by law.
When a free trial ends without an upgrade, writing is blocked immediately but your data stays readable for a short grace period so nothing is lost before you decide. After that window, access is blocked until you move to a paid plan.
Upon termination, you may request an export of Your Content within 30 days by contacting us at support@mono-sys.com; several modules also offer their own export from within the platform while your account is still accessible. After that period, we may delete Your Content in accordance with our data retention policy. Sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mono and its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data loss, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims under these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100, or its equivalent in the currency in which you were invoiced, converted at the rate applicable on the date the claim arises.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mono is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice, either party may pursue the matter before the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have to bring a claim before the courts or consumer-protection authority of your own country of residence, where applicable law gives you that right.
We are finalising our registered legal entity and governing jurisdiction, and will name both here before this clause is relied upon. If you need these details confirmed in writing before subscribing, contact us at support@mono-sys.com.
